We operate a diverse fleet of operational fire appliances, specialising in dedicated off road vehicles ranging from Rapid Intervention Vehicles to Targeted response Vehicles, providing us with the capability of operating either on or off hard roads.

Our vehicles are highly visible and fitted with the latest high visibility ‘Batten-burg’ conspicuancy markings.  Each appliance is also fitted with the latest audible and visual warning devices, to ensure the safety of the members of the public is maintained when proceeding to incidents.

All vehicles are suitably equipped to enable our personnel to deal with a wide range of operational duties safely and efficiently, and both equipment and appliances are regularly inspected and serviced.

Pump Rescue Ladders (PRL)

The front line of our fire and rescue capability is without doubt our pump rescue ladders. These are kitted to an extremely high standard with equipment including heavy duty single core Holmatro, ventilation, BA/Search equipment and a full complement of trauma kits.

This enables crews to respond to a multitude of incidents including but not limited to fires, rescues, RTC’s, incidents at height and around water, minor gas/chemical incidents.

Targeted Response Vehicle (TRV)

This unique vehicle has undergone extensive refurbishment to deliver a huge fire and rescue capability both off road and in hard to reach places.

This vehicle is equipped with Holmatro, BA/Search equipment and a full complement of trauma equipment.

This enables crews to respond to a multitude of incidents including but not limited to fires, rescues, RTC’s, incidents around water, minor gas incidents.

Rapid Intervention Vehicle (RIV)

We have a number of custom built L4Ps which enable crews to respond to incidents in the most hard to reach places, or in places with extremely limited access.

These vehicles carry a multitude of fire fighting media enabling them to respond to multiple classes of fire.

Incident Response Unit (IRU)

With its huge load carrying capacity and stowage for its own Moffett fork lift, this vehicle is able to deliver firefighting equipment, humanitarian aid, emergency aid, disaster relief or medical supplies in bulk, safely and more importantly efficiently.

Within the first 3 months of having this vehicle it was on standby to deliver water for local authority emergency planning.

Technical Support Unit (TSU)

This vehicle provides a wide range of technical support at incidents including gas detection and monitoring, bio hazard clean up, environmental spill and containment, positive pressure ventilation, flood pumping and other specialist equipment.

This vehicle is also equipped with a rear messaging system which can be used for safety cordons and traffic control.

Command Support Vehicle (CSV)

This vehicle enables incident commanders or personnel to move around large showgrounds and incidents. This vehicle is also equipped with a rear messaging system which can be used for safety cordons and traffic control. This vehicle is also used to respond with our water bowser trailer.

Water Bowser

Fitted with a low pressure pump this water bowser trailer can be used to ferry water to prolonged incidents or used on standby for emergency use.

As the vehicle is fitted with its own pump, it is completely self-contained for both filling and pumping and is not reliant on other fire appliances to be utilised.

Tank & Pump Sledges

We also have a number of both high and low pressure tank and pump sledge units available. These are completely self-contained including basic forcible entry tools and water replenishment equipment.

These can be made available on unmarked 4×4 pickups with prior notice both with or without crew, or can be delivered in bulk at short notice with our IRU. These are available to local authority, civil contingency and emergency planning for severe weather conditions such as heat waves, or for prolonged incidents, or incidents where there are severe vehicle access problems.

A full hand over on their use will be given upon delivery and when delivered on our IRU, they will be loaded onto your vehicles with our Moffett forklift.
